About the Position:
We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented candidate who will be responsible for creating and transmitting entries to U.S. Customs in a timely manner. Our ideal candidate is someone with 2+ years of entry writing experience and familiarity with U.S. Customs regulations. Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
 Organize and manage incoming files
 Prioritize and execute Importer Security Filing (ISF) and Customs Entries
 Complete billing for all files executed
 Interact with Customs, import carriers, and service ports to arrange for coordinated handling of product from source to delivery
 Reduce downtime by foreseeing potential problems and troubleshooting existing ones
 Comply with established company standards regarding communications/responsiveness
 Complete other tasks or duties assigned by supervisor to ensure effective and efficient operation of the department

A Successful Candidate will:
 Bilingual in Spanish (required), both written and oral.
 Execute data entry with extreme attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlines
 Be comfortable learning new software applications
 Exhibit strong communication skills
 Engage and support the team by coming to work with a can-do attitude
 Enjoy learning and mastering new things every day
 Positively and professionally represent Miramar Customs Brokers under all circumstances
 Maintain a high level of confidentiality

Education and Experience:
 Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry
 Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred, but not required
 2+ years of related experience preferred
