Digital Graphic Design Engineer

We specialize in the development of customized software solutions and services for the administration of companies engaged in international trade, such as inventory control, Annex 24 and rules of origin, enabling our clients to timely and effectively comply with their tax and customs obligations in Mexico and the United States.
With a team of more than 50 international trade specialists on both sides of the border, we offer our mostly Maquiladora clients technological innovations allowing them real time control of their international trade operations.
Our software, Annex 24 for maquiladoras, is a key system required for legal and tax compliance. This software was originally created years ago and has been adapted to assure authority compliance and user efficiency, which has been achieved due to our vision to always improve and develop new solutions.
THE POSITION: DIGITAL GRAPHIC DESIGN ENGINEER
The Digital Graphic Design Engineer will lead communication strategies for the release of new software versions, including user guidance materials and public presentations; produce and host podcasts and digital content related to trade compliance, software updates, and industry best practices; create and deliver online and in-person courses and workshops for clients and partners; develop training materials for both internal staff and customers; design new graphic assets for the I-Xport web platform based on company specifications, promotional needs, and brand guidelines; create visual content including illustrations and infographics; review, supervise, and approve visual design projects; ensure brand consistency and adherence to corporate image across all design outputs; maintain and organize all digital design resources (software, artwork, etc.); collaborate with and support programmers in implementing visual design for platforms, ensuring alignment with the brand identity; lead marketing initiatives through email campaigns, microsites, and landing pages to increase client engagement; serve as the lead designer for client-specific customizations of Annex 24 solutions and other platforms. Will supervise computer programmers and graphic designers.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in digital graphic design engineering
- 120 months of work experience in digital graphic design engineering
- Fluent in Spanish
- Expertise in foreign trade between Mexico and the United States
- Sound knowledge of Mexican customs and foreign trade regulations
- Advanced knowledge of Annex 24 systems and compliance platforms
- Solid understanding of operations in maquiladora (IMMEX) companies with foreign investment
LOCATION OF EMPLOYMENT (Street Address): 1574 Lancaster Point Way, San Diego, CA 92154. Frequent travel to Mexico and within the United States to meet with clients, corporate representatives, and government agencies to review and support systems aligned with industry and regulatory changes.
RATE OF PAY: $110,000.00 USD/Year
