Warehouse Worker/Merchandise Inspector

Position Description:

Receive incoming material, while accurately identifying and breaking down the material, find discrepancies and identify serial numbers, origin, weight, quantities and product description.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Experience Required:

· Customer service, data entry, warehouse experience is preferred

· Proficient in Microsoft word and excel

· Typing speed - 40+wpm

· Excellent verbal/written communications in both Spanish/English

Mathematical Skills Basic Skills such as ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Language Skills

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals

· Ability to write e-mails, speak effectively in groups of customers or employees of organization

· Ability to speak effectively on the telephone and properly process all incoming and outgoing calls

Reasoning Ability (Intermediate Skills) Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 40lbs

· Ability to stand for long periods of time

· Ability to bend, kneel and squat

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
