While Chinese 10% tariffs across the board continue, the elimination of the De Minimis tax exemption for Chinese goods included in the same executive order as the duties was halted temporarily, while the government can prepare to charge duties and inspect these shipments.
New 25% tariffs on steel, steel derivatives and aluminum are no fare set to begin March 12, 2025.
