VEHICLE LANE CHANGES AT SAN YSIDRO PORT OF ENTRY

Customs and Border Protection at the San Ysidro Port of Entry has an important announcement for those traveling through the port from Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. to Thursday at 3:00 a.m.:

This is a one (1) day lane configuration adjustment. This adjustment will not have any impact on vehicle throughput northbound. San Ysidro will still be staffing its normal operating configuration. The only difference is that they will be shifting lanes to the west side (towards Vehicle High Lanes). Entry points from Mexico into the US will remain the same. Please see vehicle lane adjustment that will take effect below:

Total vehicle lane adjustment time: 7 hours on the night/midnight shift. 

Closed Vehicle Lanes : Lanes 1-8
Operating Vehicle Lanes : Lanes 9-26

At 4:00 a.m. on Thursday, 07/07/22 normal operating configuration will resume (Vehicle Lanes 1-8 will be reopened).
